CHAPTER 188 LADIES AUXILIARY

We ladies are dedicated to serving our hospitalized veterans.

We raise funds with our various functions at our post home,to serve the veterans at the NORTH CHICAGO Hospital. Our work there is mainly with veterans in the long-term care facilities.

Sometimes our work turns to fun. We host many functions throughout the year. Such as Bingo, Pizza partys and Barbeque cook-outs in the summer and Santa and his helpers at Christmas.We plan an outing for the Veterans after every fund raiser.

Of course we also provide canteen books throughout the year. We get a wonderful feeling making the veterans happy.
